Troy Built Lawn Mowers
Troy Built lawn mowers (actually spelled Troy-Bilt but changed here because most people are unaware) say they are "built for life." One of the things we've found about these mowers is that reviews tend to vary widely, perhaps more widely than most major brands. Some people will not have any other brand while others tend to stay away.
It's been our experience that these are more than adequate if you have a level yard but they are not real effective for commercial use. The string mower is great for around fences, but again, the yard need to be level or the string will tend to dig into the ground.
If you have a small to medium sized yard that is basically flat, you will love Troy Built lawn mowers. They are relatively inexpensive and should last a long time with proper care. Larger yards or those with hilly terrain might be best advised to look at other brands.
