Battery Operated Lawn Mowers
In case you don't already know, battery operated lawn mowers are a great option as you look for a way cut your grass. They are environmentally friendly, using no gas and no oil. There are no cords to mow around or worry about running over. Just charge the battery and you're ready to mow.
So what are the drawbacks?
Well before you buy, make sure you know the size of your yard and how much ground your mower can cut before the battery dies. If you have a large yard, something over 10,000 feet, chances are a gas mower might be a better choice.
And make sure you know how long the battery will run. A typical battery will last about an hour and a half. Higher voltage ones will run longer because they have more batteries, but remember those batteries add extra weight and will make the job a little tougher.
